Gwyneth Wentink

Internationally acclaimed harpist and cultural leader Gwyneth Wentink co-founded Springhead Constellation in 2024 with Sir John Eliot Gardiner. As CEO, she guides the organisation’s vision to connect performance, education, and ecology through multidisciplinary projects that bring together music, history, philosophy, science, and the natural world.

Recognised as one of today’s most versatile harpists, Wentink has appeared at leading stages worldwide, including Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center (New York), the Royal Albert Hall (London), the Konzerthaus (Berlin) and the Concertgebouw (Amsterdam). Alongside her performing career, she has pioneered innovative cross-arts productions such as Canto Ostinato Audio Visual, which has toured internationally, ANAHATA and IN-CODE.

As director of creative platforms — including Foundation Harp and previously TodaysArt — Wentink has consistently fostered collaboration across artistic disciplines and explored the role of the arts in cultural renewal. She is also a dedicated teacher, serving as guest professor of harp at the Conservatory of Amsterdam and the Royal Academy of Music, London.

Her contributions have been recognised with the Dutch Music Award, the highest distinction for musicians in the Netherlands, as well as the Israel Harp Competition (first price winner) and the Young Concert Artists Audition in New York. In 2019 Wentink has been appointed as new member of the prestigious Society of Arts in The Netherlands.

Through Springhead Constellation, Wentink brings together her artistic, curatorial, and executive experience to create an organisation that not only produces world-class performances, but also cultivates dialogue between music, ecology, and community.
